The main aim of the meeting is to highlight the historical aspects of x-ray diffraction following the seminal work of the Braggs in 1912. Attendance at the meeting is free and is being jointly run by the BRLSI and the South West Branch and History Group of the Institute of Physics.
The programme is being finalised, but is expected to include:
• 100 years of Crystal Structure Analysis, Professor Paul Raithby, University of Bath
• The Life and Work of John Desmond Bernal, Professor John Finney, University College, London
• Structural Molecular Biology, Professor Ravi Acharya, University of Bath
It is also hoped that several members of the Bragg family will attend. For further details contact Dr Peter Ford, email@example.com
