Speakers: Sir John Meurig Thomas FRS

How did Michael Faraday, a deeply religious man who left school at 13 and never attended high school or university, become one of the greatest experimenters of all time?
Professor Thomas will tell Faraday’s story, one of the most romantic in the history of science.
Sir John Meurig Thomas FRS was a former Director of The Royal Institution and a Former Director of the Cambridge University Chemistry Laboratory.
