Father and son, William Henry and William Lawrence Bragg successfully showed how x-ray diffraction could lend itself to the solution of crystal structures, earning the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1915. In this talk, I shall discuss their background and careers and how they created the modern field of Crystallography.

Mike Glazer is a professor at the Department of Physics, University of Oxford
