Speakers: Dr Gregory Wurtz

This presentation will give a broad introduction of the optics of metallic nano-objects.
How does the shape, size, environment of these objects, or even the way we observe them change their colour, or give the illusion of their absence.
These are a few questions that will be answered in this presentation. Gregory Wurtz is from Kings College London. His research interests focus on the optics of nanostructures to understand how light interacts with such small objects.
