Professor Heidy Mader is University Research Fellow in Earth Sciences
at the University of Bristol. Her research interests cover a broad range of
multiphase phenomena in the environmental sciences, specifically problems in volcanology and glaciology. Her volcanological research has focused on multiphase flow and fragmentation processes during explosive volcanic eruptions, while her glaciological research centres on the microscopic water content in glacial ice.
