Portsmouth & District Physical Society lecture. £1.50 donations welcomed.
One of the most fundamental of human questions is the origin of life in the Universe. Is our planet the only place where life has started, or is the cosmos teeming with such activity? Or, as several people have suggested, is there a key difference between the ability of simple plant life to exist, and the more advanced forms of life that can build technology. This talk looks at our progress in identifying other places in the Universe where life could exist.
