Why is there something rather than nothing? If you take away the Earth, the Moon, the stars - everything material - what remains? The concept of the Void has alarmed and fascinated humans from the dawn of time. This talk explores the nature of nothing, from the ancient Greek philosophers to the frontiers of modern science, including the question of what was happening the night before the Big Bang?
