Speakers: Prof Yvonne Rogers. Computing Department, The Open University

Ubiquitous computing has arrived. The world we live in has become suffused with computers.
So much so that our lifestyles are radically changing, raising the question of what it means to be human when everything we do is supported or augmented by technology.
In this talk Prof Rogers will give an overview of the field, contrasting the 90’s vision of Ubiquitous Computing and the realities and challenges we face today.
