Volunteers needed for Science in the Park 2016

Science in the Park is one of the Physics Buskers' regular events. Held on a Saturday morning in March at Wollaton Hall and Deer Park, 'Science in the Park' is part of the national Science and Engineering Week

The Physics Buskers are running two activities this year. In addition to the usual tricks, there will be an activity themed on light where people will be able to make their own spectroscope and pinhole camera.

The experiments on show include:-
•Make Your Own Spectroscope
•Make your Own Pinhole Camera
•Spectra of Lamps
•Physics tricks :-
•Tornado in a Bottle
•Cartesian Diver
•Amazing Marshmallows
•Balloon Kebabs
•Potato Straws
•Wave Pendulum
•and 'The Sign'

Any amount of time you can help for is all appreciated. No previous experience required - training provided on the day. Set up from 10am at Wollaton, should be packed up by 16:30.
