Have you ever described electricity using a ‘water circuit’ as an analogy?  After this make-and-take, you'll be able to show your class a fully working water circuit, in which the rate of flow of water represents the current, and the water pressure represents the voltage.

Making and testing the water model will take just over an hour; the workshop runs from 4pm to 6pm to be accessible to as many people as possible.
